Matt FitzGerald: What color tile is that and where can i buy it?
liquidblue: I DIDNT SEE YOU PUT DOWN EXTRA GLUE , HOMEDEPOT TOLD MY HUSBAND AND I TOO
BUY EXTRA GLUE COMPOUND BEFORE LAYING STICKY TILE . I'M GETTING OF
DIFFERENT WAYS PEOPLE DO THIS AND OTHER THINGS ALSO . I GUESS THERE IS NO
ONE WAY TO DO IT PROPERLY . OR MAYBE THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO GET US SPEND
OUR MOPNEY , MONEY , MONEY MONEY . . DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER .
creativeprojects720: How would you cut the tile around the toilet? . = Round . lol
Hellsconsort: Helpful. Thank you.
Matty S: Please, for the love of God! If you plan on installing these sticky tiles,
please remove them and leave the floor in a decent condition if you even
I moved into a place that had self adhesive, and after a couple of years
they needed to be replaced, and remove these things is freaking hell!
LoveTeeC3: For those who say not to use peel and stick tile: keep in mind that no type
of flooring is permanent, and that even real hardwood floors need
maintenance. If you feel comfortable using peel and stick, it's a great
option for people who don't have hundreds or thousands to spend on
flooring. I have groutable vinyl tile in my kitchen, foyer, downstairs bath
and garage hallway, and people don't believe me when I tell them it isn't
real :). Not to mention that it shows no signs of wearing out.
g1981c: wouldn't it be easier to keep the pattern parallel to the walls by starting
from the side, rather than from the middle ?
Tyler Baker: very very helpful video
thesby tolbert: another thing is that tile ceramic or rubber?
Chrissy Long: How would you cut the tile around the toilet?
Derrsaidso: what's the great trick for creating templates please
DriftinS14: great video
Donna Frazier: Thanks for posting these instructions. I plan to do this under my kitchen
sink. Do I need to star in the center or at the edge?
inkspray: That, and I think you'll find your walls aren't exactly parallel to each
other. Framing houses isn't exactly done by master level engineers.
Elias Ramos: do you recoment to use glue also for better adheration ?
majinjovan: The cleanup comments are so important! 2:57 Installer is thinking: "Da Fuq
LoveTeeC3: LOL, I would if I could! But seriously, the first thing to do is get rid of
the fear, plan and dive right in. When I hesitate before projects I'm
always amazed at how well they come out anyway. There is also a really
great trick for making a template to get your cuts perfect every time; it's
just about foolproof and makes the job much, much faster.
thesby tolbert: now that's what i like! this type of floor is quicker and is less
expensive. i could do the flooring myself with hiring a contractor!
ashleyk2002uk: You might get to the middle and find you have to cut and fit to the size.
Its better to do that at the edge than in the centre and thats why its best
to start at the centre and work outwards.
Jose Ayestas: Very helpfully, thx!
Ketchme17: I don't understand how to trace around these odd areas. We have molding
around our door frame but no floor molding so getting around that door
molding is going to be difficult.
scott lui: Hi,I work with a company that manufactures epoxy sheet flooring systems
ideal for both industrial and commercial facilities. Our goal is to provide
a flooring system that lasts longer than vinyl sheet flooring and is easier
and faster to install than traditional epoxy paint systems. We are looking
for importer. The next best step would be replying to me to schedule a Skype
call with me to talk more about our process. You can add my Skype name now
by searching "can.fast" Thanks.
snow2312: ima do this
D Frost: Thank you, A great video with easy to follow instruction..
MightyTottenham: Can self-adhesive vinyl tiles be laid straight onto a concrete floor? We've
just bought a new-build and this is my first DIY job
THE1POSTMAN: Thanks for this video!! very helpful
MrBubblebelly: Let me make one thing clear: Even if Peel-and-Stick flooring is applied
PERFECTLY, within a few years the corners and edges will begin to lift. Do
your self a favor and never waste money on this flooring option that seems
quick and easy. Spend more money and get a permanent floor.
