backwoodsbully: What is the price of this part?thanks
1A Auto Parts: You may want to check the fuses to see if any of them are blown.
chitownlo1: Thanks for the video, it was a great help. You explained and showed every
step in enormous detail. Your directions were easy to follow and saved me
some serious dough. Thank you again.
Maria Damiani: This video is great! Watching this is so much better than trying to read
confusing descriptions online that all seem to conflict with each other!
Making videos like this to share knowledge with everyone is definitely
making the best possible use of awesome technology like youtube. Thank you!
1A Auto Parts: Thanks for watching. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
1A Auto Parts: @fpetzsc The basic procedures should be similar, but the way things come
apart would be different.
Jose Kyle: hi...i need you help.. i had the buick century limited 2001,,,and internal
lights and the lights will not turn on the radio power mirrors not working
1A Auto Parts: Thank you for checking out our 00-05 Buick Lesabre power window regulator
auto repair video on YouTube. Have a great day! 1aauto.com
1A Auto Parts: If this is your first time doing this, it might take you half a day to do
it because you might not be familiar with all of the tools or you might run
into a snag some place.

doubled3713: how do you know if its the motor or the regulator? im planning on helping
my buddy fix his tomorrow but idk how it broke. he said it was moving slow
and then eventually stopped working so it would be the motor right?
Felix Petzsche: Is this procedure similar to what you would do on a buick century?
Troy Collins: I got one for you. I have a 1999 Buick Regal and in one day I replaced the
Drivers side front and rear and pass. side rear regulators and motors, and
two of the three worked, the passenger rear did not work so I replaced the
master switch(Drivers side front) and the passenger rear went up and now
won't go down, and just clicks when you try to roll it up, and does nothing
when you try to roll the window down. Any Ideas?
1A Auto Parts: There is either a frayed wire or there is possibly something wrong with the
new motor that was purchased.
jon083166: may i suggest that you post the cost of the part if ordered from you....
Cap'n Knuckles: How long does this take?
1A Auto Parts: The window regulator may have broke. You may want to inspect it once the
door panel is off. we sell new window regulators on our website 1aauto.com
for all kinds of different vehicles, with FREE SHIPPING in the lower 48
1A Auto Parts: The window motor may slow down with age, or you may want to check the gear
on the motor to see if it's stripped. You could also try to spray some
silicone spray on the window weatherstrip and add some white lithium grease
to the window regulator to see if that helps to speed it up. these items
can be found at your local auto parts store. If you need a new window motor
we carry them with FREE Shipping on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Hope this helps you out.
dblenaughtspy: can I use the cable spool window riser assembly from the front door on the
back door? thanks
ChicagoGirlStuckSW: You guys are a Godsend, saving me $350+ over shop quotes! I cannot believe
such a simple job is so expensive, but they are using GM replacement part
which is $206. Dealerships want $380 + tax to repair. I had the driver's
door regulator repaired by a shop less than five months ago and now the
regulator in the door behind it is out. Thank you for uploading and
offering a great deal on parts online!
1A Auto Parts: If you click on the link in the video it will bring you right to it.
Brandon Robinson: My back passenger window is stuck. A friend of mines opened it in this
Chicago Weather. and i need to have it back up before Saturday! I need to
pull it up, I can hear the motor in the door but the window will not move
1A Auto Parts: @twatripp Thank you for checking out our Buick window regulator repair
video. Have a great day!
WileeC: Awesome video !! I'm curious as to why Buick never issued a recall on this
item because it is such a wide spread problem with these years of LeSabre.
I never even used the rear windows of my car and one day come out and one
had fallen about 1/2 way then a few months later the other one fell. I will
be ordering my replacements this week and, thanks to your video, saving
about $900 that the body shop wants to charge to do this.
dangolf101: Thank You! You did save me time and money!! Thanks for doing these videos.
1A Auto Parts: You may need to take the door panel off and push it back into place by
hand. Sometimes the cable can break on the regulator and prevent the window
from moving if it's tangled up inside of the door. We carry new window
regulators on our website with free shipping. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Scott Baron: Thanks for the very comprehensive and instructive video. I was able to fix
this on my own thanks to you and save hundreds in the process.
peerynable: This video saved me over $300. My husband and I were able to repair the
rear passenger window by following the instructions on the video. The only
detail that was left out was to make sure you loosen (not remove) the two
bolts where the window will be seated BEFORE installing the regulator. It
is a little bit of a hassle to finagle the regulator in place to begin
with. You do NOT want to have to get it in and realize the window will not
sit down in the clamps because they were not loosened.
Charmaine Pattee: Thank you very much for this video. I feel now I can fix my back window in
my Buick Lesabre. I appreciate the detail way that you explained very step.
Your direction were easy to follow. Thank you !!
drolince: Excellent video! This is the first time I ever tackled a job like this and
I had it finished in less than an hour - not to mention the money saved. I
agree with peerynable about loosening the 2 bolts before installing the
assembly - I ran into the same problem, and cringed at the thought of
having to remove the regulator again. Obviously the mechanical engineer who
designed the regulator never tried to do this repair. Other than that it
went flawlessly. Thanks!
Brian Butterworth: thanks for the vid, I was at a loss as to what to do once I had the door
panel off. Dealer wants 440 for the regulator, I decided to purchase one
from you. Kuddos
1A Auto Parts: The procedure would be the same, the only added thing that you would need
to do is to take the old motor off and add the new one on.
1A Auto Parts: Garages get different rates. It all depends on who you go to. You may want
to try a local auto body shop if you don't feel comfortable making the
Katie Stevens: my window just fell down. I think it is off track am I right
franticbob: Thank you very much for posting this! I installed it today and it was very
simple thanks to your video. The two push pins that held the styrofoam in
kind of got mangled so I'm going to see if I can get some good replacements
at the auto store. One other thing is that the old and new part have some
grease on them so have a rag nearby. It is a good feeling to fix your own
1A Auto Parts: They are different from the front. We carry new window regulators on our
website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
twatripp: This made a job that looked daunting a one hour affair. Not only that, I
ordered the regulator from them and they shipped same day.
epg1213: Thanks for the video! It was a fantastic help and I was able to replace it!
The only trouble I had was that the clips were almost impossible to get off
the window. It was almost as if they were glued on! I got one off, but the
2nd one would not budge. I left it on and it snapped into place with the
Fred Rougier: This video was a big help. I used it to replace the window regulator in my
wifes 2006 Buick. The hardest part was getting the window off of the
plastic track that holds it to the regulator. But I was done in about 40
twatripp: Dealer wanted $375 to do this job, so I saved about $275 by following this
video. It was exactly as shown. As someone else commented, be sure to
loosen the clamps before you install the regulator as it's a nuisance to
loosen them after you have installed it. Wiggling the old regulator out of
the door and the new one into it requires a little patience, but you just
have to get it into the right position and it comes right out. Don't be
afraid to tackle this job!!
